Mayor

Peter has been newly appointed as Mayor. A Calipatria native, Peter is currently a police officer in the Coachella Valley. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a master’s degree in Business Administration through the University of Phoenix.

Peter has 11 years of law enforcement experience with five years spent within the Imperial Valley Community, providing services for the City of Westmorland, City of Calipatria and Imperial County Sheriff’s Department. Currently, Peter is working towards a PhD in applied management and decision sciences.
